How should the electric hoist brake be adjusted?

Electric hoist

brakes are generally implemented by motors. Generally, the tail cover is removed, and then the four screws that fix the adjustment nut are removed. Finally, the adjustment nut is rotated clockwise to the extreme position with a wrench, and finally rotated counterclockwise. One turn, and then install the fastening screws even if the adjustment is successful.

Generally, electric hoists whose motor axis is perpendicular to the axis of the drum basically use worm gear transmission, so they are relatively large in size and bulky in structure, so the mechanical efficiency is low, making processing difficult, so now Manufacturers no longer produce this type of structured product.

Electric Hoist

The electric hoist with the axis of the motor parallel to the axis of the drum is generally small in height and length. Its disadvantages are large width, complicated grouping, complicated manufacturing and assembly, and large track turning radius.

When the motor is installed in an electric hoist in a drum, its advantage is generally that the length is small, so that the structure becomes compact. The main disadvantages are the poor heat dissipation conditions and poor grouping of the motor, the inconvenience of inspecting, installing and maintaining the motor, and the complexity of the power supply device.

In addition, the electric hoist with the motor installed outside the drum can generally be divided into good grouping, high degree of generalization, easy lifting height adjustment, convenient installation and maintenance, and its disadvantages are large length and size.
